Tell us more about yourself.
I am an actress and blogger that runs The Daily Corinne! My blog is a lifestyle blog that centers around having an open dialogue about lifestyle topics, questions, and advice. The main categories that can be found on my blog site include lifestyle, which allows for discussion about everything pertaining to life; the entertainment industry, where I give personal insider content and updates in my acting career; and last but not least the category of relationships, where I talk about everything from relationships to sex!
How long have you been blogging?
The Daily Corinne has been in the making for 9 months and has been successfully up and running for just a few weeks.
What made you start your The Daily Corinne?
I was inspired to start my business because I noticed that I was often getting asked my opinion on many lifestyle topics, questions about the industry and relationship/sex advice. It made me wonder how many others wanted to know my opinion on these things but were maybe too shy to ask so I decided to make it available to the public. I believe my advice and opinion comes off as refreshing because it's raw honesty mixed with sarcasm. People tend to connect more easily to people who are authentic.
What was the hardest thing you've had to deal with thus far and how have you dealt with it?
The hardest thing I've had to deal with is staying inspired to inspire and help others. Life happens and it's easy to be this great person that wants to help and give their all when everything is just fine. Its harder to do this weekly despite what life hiccups occur to deter me from doing my job. I am proud that I continue to give no matter what life throws my way. We all can get clouded with our own issues and forget about the topic at hand but how many of us are able to do so when the cards are stacked against us. I overcome these moments by remembering why I started this in the first place and never allowing the word "quit" to enter my work atmosphere.
What's been your biggest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment thus far would be the ability to connect with people on a deeper level. I appreciate it when people are happy to be themselves because I think that transcends into the love that a person should have for themselves.
What advice do you have for women looking to become entrepreneurs like you?
Make a list. Write down obstacles that you need to tackle in order to execute the goal you're pursuing. Take it one step at a time because it's not a race. Do not become fixated on where others are in life because that will just distract you further from your purpose. You have the potential to be great and whatever circumstances you are in will not be your downfall to success. If your surroundings begin to cripple you, tap into your mental strength and those surroundings as a crutch to get to where you know you need to be. Let everything be a part of the journey. Remember everything happens for a reason and just never ever quit!
Is there anything you have coming up that you want the tribe to know about?
I am excited to announce that I will be featuring exclusive content for my latest filming project and its premiere date very soon! I am also looking forward to announcing and displaying my latest partnership with the company Ivy Candles and the amazing products that this one of kind company creates!
