I don't think anyone really understands their own personal strength until their limits are pushed to the point where being strong is the only thing you can be. Tell us more about Raising Little Miracles.

It is a Non-Profit Organization that serves children born prematurely or families who have children with special needs. I provide gifts packages, monetary gifts, inspirational cards and one on once support for families in need of the services.

How long have you been doing this?

10 months

What made you start your organization?

I gave birth to my son at 26 weeks and he was also born with a very rare neural tube defect that resulted in a major brain operation. Going through this made me realize how much support a family needs on such a journey and I wanted to meet those needs.

What was the hardest thing you've had to deal with thus far?

I am still struggling with getting financial support for the organization.

How did you overcome that?

I'm working on new and exciting fundraisers and more promotions for the organization that hopefully encourage people to donate.

What's been your biggest accomplishment?

Receiving feedback from families that I’ve helped and hearing them say I helped them through the hardest season of their lives.

What or who inspires you in business?

In my particular business, I am inspired most by son and all of the other children out here beating the odds despite their diagnosis.

What advice do you have for women looking to become entrepreneurs like you?

Don’t give up! That one supporter can turn into thousands if you just keep pushing!

Is there anything you have coming up that you want the tribe to know about?

I'm always doing hospital gift drop-offs so if anyone has services, products, or anything that they’d like to donate to the families (especially moms) please don’t hesitate to reach out. I'm also planning another event for miracle moms. I previously did one in April.
